Junior Statistical Officer in the Ministry of Statistics & Program Implementation
It is a group B post falling under pay level 6 (INR INR 35,400 and 1,12,400). The recruited candidates are posted in National Sample Survey Office (NSSO). The main responsibilities include data collection and its processing, technical planning of surveys, formulation of concepts and definitions, and sampling design.
Assistant Section Officer in Intelligence Bureau
The job of Assistant Section Officer in the Intelligence Bureau is mostly data-oriented. 90% of the work has to be done on a computer which makes it a desk job. The posting is done in the state headquarters of IB. It is a Group B post and the salary ranges between INR 44,900 to 1,42,400.
